More points for Remy as he takes P12 in Aragon Race 2

Remy Gardner and teammate Stefano Manzi wrapped up the Aragon weekend with a solid points finish in Race 2 at MotorLand Aragón, Spain. The GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team riders delivered consistent performances to cross the line in 12th and 14th place respectively, adding valuable points to their championship campaigns.
Following the morning Warm Up, Remy headed into the Tissot Superpole Race feeling positive. In the 10-lap sprint, the Australian pushed hard and showed competitive pace to finish 13th. Later, in the final race of the weekend, the #87 significantly improved on his Saturday performance, steadily reducing the gap to the riders ahead. After 18 laps, he crossed the finish line in 12th place, securing further championship points.
With the Aragon round complete, the GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team concludes the first half of the 2026 season. The team will return to action in two weeks’ time at the Misano World Circuit in Italy for its home round.
Remy Gardner
– Superpole Race: P13 / Race 2: P12“Overall, it was a better day and a decent way to finish the weekend. We improved our performance a lot compared to yesterday and the gap to the front was much smaller, so we need to stay confident and keep progressing step by step until we can get closer. We’re pushing hard and we want to get back to fighting at the front — that’s our common goal — and we’ll do everything possible to achieve it. We need to stay positive and I’m already looking forward to the next round, which will be the team’s home race, so everyone will have extra motivation. I’d also like to thank everyone who came here to support me. It was great to feel that support and to have familiar faces around me throughout the weekend.”
