Front row of the #AlcanizGP grid for Remy
Remy Gardner has achieved the third best lap time at the qualifying session of the Gran Premio Liqui Moly de Teruel and he will start from the front row of the Moto2 grid.
Remy, who went straight to the Q2, has managed to complete a great fast lap of 1’51.711 which has given him the third position of the qualifying session. The Australian of the ONEXOX TKKR SAG Team is only 0.415 off the pole position, achieved by Sam Lowes. Remy has felt really comfortable riding his Kalex and has a good pace so he hope he can get a good result tomorrow even though the Motorland track doesn’t really suits his riding style.
The Moto2 race of the Gran Premio Liqui Moly de Teruel will take place tomorrow, Sunday 25th of October, at 14:30h (local time).
#87 Remy Gardner | P3 | 1’51.711 | +0.415
I am super happy with today, I didn’t expect to be in front row, I expected to be second or third row so I am extremely happy with the result. I pushed really hard to do a good lap. I think it is going to be a very interesting race tomorrow. I hope we can have a decent finish tomorrow as it will be nice to get some good points. Let’s see what the day brings!
