Remy Making The Most Of His Lockdown Time In His Garage And Garden

 In News

Mixing trials riding in his back garden to tinkering with cars in his garage, Remy Gardner would of course prefer to be back on track fighting for the FIM Moto2 World Championship, but with the current Coronavirus pandemic affecting us all he is doing all he can to remain fit and focused for when racing resumes.

A strong fifth in the season opener in Qatar, Remy should have raced in several other events but with races being postponed he, like everyone else, is uncertain when he will be back on track.

Speaking from his home in Spain he had this to say…

Remy Gardner:
“In the first two weeks of quarantine here in Spain I was lucky enough to be able to still to get to my workshop and kept myself busy there working on the cars and bikes. Unfortunately, this week the Spanish government passed a new law which means only essential businesses can operate so I am now stuck at home. I have been sorting all the things that you never have time to do while the races are on and I’m getting lots of exercise. I brought my trials bike home, so I have been playing around on that in the garden and I’ve even been cooking! Like everyone is probably feeling, it’s not a fun situation for any of us but I hope that everyone stays safe, that things improve and that we can go racing again soon!”
