Strong German GP with 11th place finish for Remy Gardner

The Tech3 Racing Team showed some great determination in today’s 28 laps race at the unique Sachsenring circuit in Germany. Thereby, Remy Gardner did an excellent job. Starting from 20thon the grid the fast Australian made steady progress during the race to eventually see the chequered flag in 11th position.

“Finally, it was a good race. Qualifying was not too great yesterday, but I still knew in my head that we can be confident for the race, we just needed a bit of luck in the first couple of laps. I think our main advantage this weekend was that we had to use the S1 tyre in the race and I think more people struggled with that compared to us. For me it was a quite clean race. I was a but lucky in the first laps, then I got held up a bit, but my pace was very constant. We are back where we need to be. We’d like to have a bit more, but I think that’s a consequence of Qualifying. We’ll work harder for the next round.”
