Remy Gardner ready to fight through the field in Catalunya
Tech3 Racing Team rider Remy Gardner experienced a challenging day in Spain today despite his best efforts and he will begin tomorrow’s Catalunya Grand Prix from the ninth row.
However, the young Australian and his team made advances in the session today, and tomorrow he aims to battle his way through the field to close the weekend solidly.

“The weekend has been very tricky for us so far but tomorrow is another day. The bike setup was not brilliant ahead of qualifying this afternoon, but we found a bit of a step during the session. Of course, it wasn’t a great time to try new things because I had to go out and learn the new setting and it’s limits, but it helped. Anyway, in the final exit, I was half a second quicker than my personal best, but I got held up in the last sector. This was a shame because I could have finished six or seven places higher if this didn’t happen. We will have to see how the race goes, but I will do my best like always.”
