The Tech3 Racing duo of Remy Gardner and Bo Bendsneyder was back on track this week for the first official Moto2 test at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, close to Valencia.

Remy was eager to shake of the rust from this winter to continue improving his lap times around the Spanish venue. With a fastest lap of 1’37.033 the Australian clinched 15th position of the overall ranking.

Following this weekend, the promising pair will complete another three days’ test in Jerez, Spain, in order to perfectly prepare the upcoming 2018 season in the hard-fought Moto2 category.

“On day one we couldn’t get any riding in, because it was too wet and too cold. In the course of the following days, we had dry conditions and therefore the opportunity to get back the feeling with the bike. It was a good test, we found out some things that are really important, which hopefully leads us into the right direction for the future. We still need to work on the setting, as we struggle a bit with some chatter, but I’m sure we will get there.”
